CMMG presented their 2026 scholarships to 4 recipients at their annual BBQ held on May 26, 2026 at Memorial Park this year. Russell Rottmann, Scholarship Committee Chair, and Ed Vitela, CMMG Chair, presented $1500 scholarships to Emma Goetz, Cole Peters, and Grace Luebbering. Not pictured is Emma Baepler. All recipients are attending the University of Missouri except Grace Luebbering, who is attending Missouri State University. CMMG awards scholarships annually to college students who plan to study horticulture, agriculture, conservation or forestry.

Our first Early Spring Plant sale went very well. Everyone that stopped by were able to purchase cole vegetable plants, pansies, tulips and more.
Mark your calendar for our large Spring Plant Sale that will be held on May the 2nd and 3rd. We will have a lot of flowers, hanging baskets and vegetables including a large variety of tomatoes for you to fill your garden and landscaping with.
